Washing Instructions
Hand wash in cold to warm water with mild laundry soap for delicates, rinse thoroughly, gently squeeze out excess water, hang to air dry. When dry, steam or press with warm (not hot) iron.
Crocheted apparel: Hand washing and air drying is best for hand crocheted garments. Gently swirl in a tub of warm (not hot) water with a small amount of laundry soap for delicates. Rinse thoroughly, gently squeeze then wrap in towel to soak up excess water. Unroll and dry flat on a drying board or waterproof surface.
If preferred, garments can be washed on delicate cold cycle in washing machine
and air dried or dried on very low heat or air setting in dryer. A fabric softener sheet can be added to avoid static.
Cotton garments may have some shrinkage. Acrylic garments will not shrink but high heat should be avoided.
During the crocheting process, ends are woven back into the garment to keep them from pulling apart. If any ends come loose during washing, DO NOT cut them. Weave them through to the wrong side of garment. If desired, a small amount of fabric glue like Speed Sew or Fray Check can be applied to hold them in place.
